I built RemoWork because my own remote job search was mostly archaeology. Half the "remote" listings were hybrid, a chunk were the same role reposted by four aggregators, and plenty pointed at applications that had closed weeks earlier.
So I did the unglamorous thing: no aggregation. Every role comes from a real company's careers page, gets opened by a human, and gets checked for four things before it goes live. Is it genuinely remote, which countries can actually apply, is the pay real, is the link still alive. When a role dies, it comes off the board. That's why there are ~11,000 jobs here and not 38,000.
The part that changed most while building it: I assumed the hard problem was supply. It wasn't. People had plenty of jobs in front of them and still told me "these leads aren't applicable to me." So I rewrote matching to score against an actual profile, skills, years of experience, salary floor, and work authorization by country, instead of keyword overlap on a job title. Feed freshness and deduplication got rebuilt in the same pass.
Everything on the job seeker side is free, including the resume builder, resume-to-JD match score, interview prep, cover letter generator, and job tracker.
One thing I'd genuinely like feedback on: RemoWork carries a lot of AI training and data work (Mercor, Mindrift, Handshake AI, Prolific and similar) alongside conventional full-time remote roles. If you've done that kind of work, does seeing both in one feed help, or does it get in the way?
