AI is only getting more expensive, and I got tired of hitting usage limits. That’s when I realized expensive models like Claude and Codex were wasting huge numbers of tokens reading verbose tool output when they only needed a tiny fraction of it. Why should an LLM read 1,000 lines of a Node.js test log when all it really needs to know is which test failed and why? So I built RemoteCode. I trained a specialized local LLM to compress noisy tool output into exactly what premium models need, instead of making them read thousands of unnecessary lines. The result is lower token usage, fewer usage-limit headaches, and the ability to manage my coding agents from my iPhone anywhere in the world.

Who hunted RemoteCode?

RemoteCode was hunted by Samuel Fajreldines. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
