Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mehmet, and I built Remcast on my own: design, iOS app, backend, all of it.
It started with a simple frustration: the best dreams disappear within a minute of waking up, and typing them into a notes app never felt worth it. So I built an app where you just say the dream out loud. Remcast turns it into an image, or a 15-second dream film with narration, and keeps everything in a private dream feed. When you want, you can share a dream, browse what others dreamed, and turn any three words into a daydream.
What I'd love feedback on: the dream feed (does it feel like a place you'd come back to?), and the voice-first flow, which I obsessed over so it works half-awake at 6 AM.
Remcast is on the App Store for iOS 15.1+. It's free to download; dream films are part of Premium. Happy to answer anything about building it solo, and I'd love to hear the weirdest dream you've ever had.
