Rehearse
Say it out loud first, to a manager who answers back
Rehearse lets you practise the work conversations you're dreading, out loud, with a lifelike AI face that pushes back like the real person would. Pick from 33 scenarios (saying no, giving feedback, setting boundaries, managing up) or write your own and set the date it's happening. After each rehearsal you see the exact line where you lost them and what to say instead. On the day, Rehearse asks how the real one went and uses it to coach your next practice.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Akil, and I recently got promoted to product manager.
The work I could handle. The conversations I couldn't. The first time my manager promised my team a project we had no room for, I needed to say no, and I'd never said no to him. I rehearsed it in my head for days and still folded in the room.
So I built the thing I wanted: somewhere to say it out loud first, to someone who answers back.
How it works
• Pick a conversation (33 of them: saying no, feedback, boundaries, managing up, hard moments) or describe your own and set the date
• Talk it through live with an AI counterpart who has a real, lip-synced face and pushes back the way your boss or report would
• Get the exact line where it turned, what they heard, and what to say instead
• Take a prep card into the real conversation
• On the day, Rehearse asks how it actually went, and that shapes your next practice
Voice-only works anywhere, and face-to-face is there when you want it to feel real. It's on iPhone and Android, and free to try.
I'd love to know: what's the conversation you've been putting off at work? Try it on Rehearse and tell me how it went. I'm here all day to answer questions and read every piece of feedback. 🙏
