Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mihail, the maker of Regexcellent. It brings an interactive regex course, a live playground and short practice challenges into a native app.
The course has 40 lessons across eight modules. Write patterns against sample text, inspect matches and use hints when needed. The Playground lets you experiment with captures and matching flags, save useful patterns and see token explanations. The reference and regex golf offer other ways to practice.
Export supported Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript and Python snippets. Regex engines differ, so exports include warnings and can refuse unsupported translations; test snippets with your real input.
Every lesson and feature is free, with no ads or subscription. Core learning tools work offline without an account. Optional tips unlock nothing, and optional sync stays within the Apple or Android ecosystem. Gallery examples use sample data and identify previews.
I'd love to hear which patterns are hardest to understand and how the explanations could be clearer.
