Regainly

Detects failed Stripe payments, retries, and follows up.

Regainly connects to your Stripe account and recovers revenue lost to failed subscription payments. It classifies each failed charge as a soft or hard decline — soft declines are retried automatically, hard declines trigger a self-serve card-update email. No monthly fee: Regainly only charges a commission on recoveries it can prove it caused, and your funds are never held by Regainly — recovered money lands directly in your own Stripe balance.

Hey PH 👋 I built Regainly after watching a Stripe-billing SaaS lose a meaningful chunk of MRR every month to failed card payments that nobody was tracking. Stripe's own Smart Retries catches some of it, but it does nothing when a card is actually dead, and it never reaches out to the customer. Regainly connects with a read-only Restricted API Key, classifies each failed charge as a soft or hard decline, retries the soft ones silently, and for hard declines sends the customer a direct link to update their card — no login required on their end. The part I'm most opinionated about: Regainly only charges a commission on recoveries it can prove it actually caused — a retry it made, or a card update completed through its own link. If Stripe's own retry resolves it, or the customer pays some other way, you're not charged for it. No monthly fee either way. It's early — I'd genuinely rather hear what's missing or what looks sketchy about the model than get a stream of compliments. Happy to answer anything about how the classification or billing logic works.
