Who hunted Refolk?
Refolk was hunted by Mark Gomez. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Slow and steady wins the race.
Existing sourcing tools focus on speed, Refolk focuses on quality - when you search for specific types of profiles, you don't care about getting results in 2 seconds, you want good results and are able to wait a few minutes. That's why I believe a turn-based agentic approach is the right one.
I'm a recruiter myself. Sales Nav and Juicebox kept giving me the same results, and I wanted a plain simple interface - so I built Refolk. It's helped me run a dozen campaigns reaching people these tools usually miss.
Really excited to see what others find with it.
