Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Reflow AI because I kept running into the same annoying problem: you get a website (yours, a client's, a template) that looks great on desktop but falls apart on mobile — and "fixing" it usually means manually rewriting CSS breakpoint by breakpoint, hoping you don't break something else along the way.
So I set out to build an AI tool that could just... do that part for you. Paste in your HTML/CSS, click a button, get back a responsive version.
The inspired-by-a-real-problem part turned out to be the easy part. The hard part was trust. Early versions would "convert" a site and sometimes quietly delete elements, or shrink everything into an unusable mess, or claim something was responsive when it clearly wasn't on a real phone screen. An AI confidently telling you it's done is not the same as it actually being done.
That's where the approach really evolved: I stopped treating the AI's output as the final answer and started treating it as a draft that has to prove itself. Reflow AI now renders every conversion in real sandboxed browser viewports (mobile, tablet, laptop, desktop, ultrawide), measures actual layout — overflow, broken grids, tiny tap targets, clipped text — and scores it. If the AI's fix didn't actually work, or worse, deleted content, the system catches it and won't just hand it back to you pretending everything's fine.
So the core idea isn't just "AI writes responsive CSS" — it's "AI writes it, and a real browser checks its work before you ever see it."
