I built Reelsy to fix this. It’s a lightweight Chrome extension that injects a proper media player directly into the interface.
What it does:
• Timeline Scrubbing: Seek forward and backward instantly.
• Auto-Scroll: Hands-free continuous viewing.
• Speed Control: Playback from 0.5x up to 2x.
• Volume Lock: A dedicated slider that actually remembers your settings.
It runs entirely client-side. Zero telemetry. Zero remote servers. The core player is free forever.
