Hey Product Hunt 👋

A few months ago I was trying to get my first SaaS in front of people on Reddit. Found the right subreddits, wrote thoughtful comments on posts where my product actually fit, kept it useful.

Got my main account shadowbanned in a week. Made a second account, tried again, got auto-filtered within days. By the third I realized the problem wasn't my comments. It was the account.

Reddit's spam detection assumes a young account recommending a SaaS is a bot, because 95% of the time it is. The accounts that DO land replies are 6+ months old with 500+ karma and a comment history that looks human. I didn't have one. Building one by hand felt like a part-time job: an hour a day, browsing, upvoting, occasionally posting, all just to earn the right to mention my product once.

So I built RedPilot.

It finds you real leads. Give it your subreddits, keywords, and what your product actually does. It scans on a cadence and surfaces posts where people are literally asking for what you sell. Intent matches, not keyword matches.

It walks your Reddit account through a 14-day warmup. Daily action plans: browse, upvote, comment on things you genuinely find interesting, make a real post or two. By day 14 your account looks human, and your replies stop getting nuked.

Most other tools skip the warmup and just spam Reddit with AI replies. They work for two weeks before every account gets banned. That's not distribution, that's a treadmill.

If you've ever tried Reddit and given up, this is for you. Honest feedback welcome. Happy to AMA in the comments.

Who hunted RedPilot?

RedPilot was hunted by Harish Chandran. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
