Recovr
Recovery assistant tool for gym goers and atheletes
Solution for your workout injuries. Map pain on a 3D body and get targeted stretches and exercises from Recovr.
I wanted to build a web app for a long time, but I did not find any meaningful purpose. A few months ago, I injured my lower back in the gym while doing squats. So, I researched how to create a recovery plan to target my lower back.
During this phase, I discovered that these kinds of injuries are common for regular gym-goers and athletes, and that's where I found my mission: to build a web app that sits right with my heart.
Over the last few months, I built Recovr, an interactive tool where you can select muscle groups, pain levels, or describe your pain in simple text (in my case, "my lower left back hurts after squats"). Recovr's algorithm, which is built on a publicly available rehab library, curates a 7-day recovery plan targeting the injured areas.
The recovery plan provides instructions on how to perform each stretch or exercise, along with YouTube videos. It also gives you the option to track your recovery progress and log your pain levels on a daily basis.
Looking for feedback from athletes and gym-goers.
