Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Recounts because I realized how many ordinary moments in our lives simply disappear. We remember the big things — birthdays, trips, achievements — but forget the random conversations, small wins, funny incidents, people we spent time with, and completely normal days that eventually become memories we wish we could revisit. Traditional journaling never quite solved that for me. Sitting down in front of a blank page and trying to write a polished journal entry can feel like work. So I started building Recounts around a simpler idea: just tell it what happened. It can be messy, short, detailed, or completely ordinary. Recounts helps turn that into a story worth keeping, so over time you're building a collection of your life rather than a folder of forgotten notes. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to make the experience feel calm and enjoyable rather than like another productivity task, and I'm still actively improving it. This is my first time launching Recounts here, and I'd genuinely love feedback from the Product Hunt community — especially on the experience and whether the idea changes how you'd approach journaling.
