I’m thrilled to finally share Recip-A-Tor with you all!
The app was born out of a simple frustration: seeing amazing recipes on TikTok, Instagram, or random food blogs, saving them, and then completely losing them in a sea of bookmarked links and screenshots.
I wanted to build something that solves this once and for all—and does it with zero ads, zero subscriptions, and 100% free access to all features. Plus, it’s built with a privacy-first, local-first mindset, meaning your personal cookbook stays safely on your device.
Some of my favorite features to try out:
• Instant Social Saving: Just share/paste any link from IG, TikTok, FB, or YouTube, and watch it turn into a clean recipe.
• The Magazine Theme: If you love traditional cookbooks, switch to this layout—it looks beautiful on a tablet or phone.
• Photo to Recipe: Take a picture of an old handwritten recipe card, and let the app digitize it for you.
