Recern Workspace
One workspace for SQL, NoSQL and vector databases
Explore database activity, queries, indexes and vector search in one desktop app, with Safe Mode for production. Supports PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis, Qdrant and more. Available for macOS, Windows and Linux.A desktop workspace for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Cassandra, Qdrant, SQLite, Redis, Valkey, Dragonfly and Recern Vector: activity, queries, indexes and findings, with Safe Mode for production.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m the maker of Recern Workspace.
I wanted one place to understand what’s happening across different databases: which queries are expensive, where activity is getting blocked, how indexes behave, and how vector search balances accuracy and speed.
Recern started with PostgreSQL and Redis and grew to include document, analytical, and vector databases. That shaped the approach: a familiar interface, with views tailored to how each engine works.
Today, Recern Workspace supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Cassandra, Qdrant, SQLite, Recern Vector, Redis, Valkey, and Dragonfly.
You can explore database activity, investigate queries, inspect indexes, and work with vector search, with Safe Mode for production connections. It runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
The short demo shows three workflows: investigating PostgreSQL queries, comparing recall and latency in Recern Vector, and running filtered vector searches in Qdrant.
This is the beginning of Recern’s public launch. I’m looking forward to learning which workflows people find useful and where the experience needs more work.
If you try it, I’d love to hear: what’s one database task you wish your current tools made easier?
Thanks for taking a look. I’m here to answer questions and hear your feedback!
