I built Reception Genie so small businesses could get a receptionist without enterprise pricing. It answers calls 24/7, books appointments, undertakes call transfers — and the same config also drives a web agent you can embed on your site.
I built Reception Genie after watching a gas engineer try to juggle an emergency fix for me while being interrupted by constant incoming calls. It made me realise how many people work like this — trades, driving instructors, health professionals, solo operators — always on the job and always at risk of missing leads.
Most of them don’t want (or can’t justify) a full‑time receptionist, but they still need someone to pick up the phone, answer questions, and help callers when they’re busy.
Reception Genie answers calls instantly, handles common questions, books appointments, and sends clear summaries so nothing gets missed. Pricing is designed for small businesses, with optional enterprise‑level features if needed — but no call centres, no outsourcing, no hidden services. Just an AI receptionist that does the basics really well.
