I built RecapDB because I kept doing the same thing: coming back to a show after a long break, watching 5 confused minutes, then spending 20 minutes on Reddit trying to piece together what happened.
The extension auto-detects what you're watching and slides in a recap card — no typing, no searching. "Read here" expands it inline without leaving the streaming page. Took 3 Chrome Web Store rejections to get the listing clean enough to pass (if you've hit Yellow Argon, you know the pain).
Happy to answer anything - and yes, it works on your BBC iPlayer and ABC iView too, not just the US services. 🙂
