Recall
Search and own your AI conversations across tools
Recall is built on a simple idea: you should carry your own context. It’s a Chrome extension that captures and lets you search your conversations across ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — all stored locally, under your control. Instead of losing insights in isolated chats, Recall turns them into a personal, searchable memory layer you can actually reuse. This is a small step toward a bigger vision: user-owned context that works across AI systems.
Hey everyone 👋
I didn’t start by building a Chrome extension — I started with a frustration:
AI is getting better, but *my context isn’t*.
Every time I switch between ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini:
* My past conversations are stuck in silos
* My useful insights are buried
* And I have to re-explain things over and over again
It made me realize something:
👉 We don’t actually *own* our AI context.
That idea led me to write about “carrying your own context” ([link here](https://medium.com/@suikacider/c...) if you're curious), and Recall is the first step in that direction.
Recall is a simple Chrome extension that:
* Captures conversations across AI tools
* Lets you ⭐ save what matters
* Gives you **instant search across everything**
But the real goal is bigger:
👉 Your conversations shouldn’t live inside tools — they should belong to you.
Everything in Recall is stored locally, so you control your data and can build on top of it.
This is just the beginning, but I’d love to hear:
* Does this problem resonate with you?
* What would “owning your context” look like in your workflow?
Thanks for checking it out 🙏

Who hunted Recall?
Recall was hunted by Iggy. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
