Realust
The nutrition label for North Texas cities
Moving to Dallas? Realust scores all 84 cities in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Rockwall counties on 288 data points each: schools, safety, home prices, commute, growth and more. Every city is scored the same way, from the same sources. Compare cities side by side, re-rank them with your own priorities, or take an 8-question quiz to find your match. Built by a local former architect who thinks choosing a city deserves better data than choosing a kitchen. Free to use.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Jason, a former architect who now designs products and renovates homes in the Dallas area. Why I built it: Friends kept asking me, “Where should we move?” Every answer, mine included, was just the suburb that person already knew. National sites cover thousands of cities, but only at a surface level. I wanted one place where every North Texas city is scored the same way, from the same sources. What it does: Realust scores 84 cities across four counties on 288 data points each, including schools, safety, prices, commute and growth. You can compare cities side by side or re-weight the categories to match your priorities. How it evolved: I started with one overall score and quickly learned that averages hide trade-offs. Now every score breaks into eight categories, so you can see why a city ranks where it does. The data also surprised me. Double Oak, a town of about 3,000 people, ranks #2, ahead of Highland Park. What I’d love from you: What would you need to see before choosing a city? And which cities should I compare next?
