An open-source email editor you can embed in your own app
React Email 6.0 introduces an open-source visual editor you can embed in your app with a few lines of code. It outputs email-ready HTML that renders across every major inbox. Fully themeable and extensible. Built in two layers: - a core that works out of the box - a composable Extensions API for custom blocks. Also shipping: new auth and e-commerce templates and a unified package (import everything from react-email).
Hey Product Hunt 👋
We've taken all our learnings from building React Email templates and used it to build our editor. Extensible. Custom themes. Open Source.
We've been building React Email for the past few years to fix how developers create emails. Today we're shipping the biggest release yet: an open-source visual editor.
The problem is simple. Most email editors are closed-source, expensive, and produce messy HTML that breaks across inboxes. We wanted to build something that developers could embed directly in their apps, extend with custom blocks, and trust to produce clean output.
The editor ships as its own package (@react-email/editor), has a theming system so it can match your app's look and feel, and exposes EmailNode so you can create any custom block you need.
We also unified all React Email components into a single react-email package and added a new set of templates for common flows like authentication and e-commerce.
Would love your feedback. Try it at react.email or check the docs for the editor.
