RawCut
Turns a script into a finished video, from your own footage
RawCut is an iPhone app that turns a written script into a finished vertical video. You add clips from your camera roll once, write a few lines describing what you want to see or say, and RawCut finds the matching moments in your own footage and cuts them together, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. It only uses your real footage: no stock clips, no AI-generated filler. If nothing in your library fits a line of your script, it says so instead of faking it.
I kept noticing the same thing with people who film a lot: the footage isn't the problem, the editing is. A camera roll full of clips.
RawCut flips that. You add clips from your camera roll once. Then you write a few lines, what you want to see or say, and it finds the exact moments in your own footage and cuts them into a finished 9:16 video. Ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Two things I care about:
It only uses your real footage. No stock, no AI-generated filler. If nothing in your library fits a line of your script, it tells you instead of faking it.
Your videos never leave your iPhone. Only a few small frames are analyzed, once per clip.
Built solo, in Flutter. Happy to answer anything.
