Ravelo — The First Bank for Your Time

Earn, save, and spend your time more wisely

Ravelo is a bank for your time. Turn screen time into a balance: deposit focused minutes, then withdraw them for distractions. Designed for people with ADHD.

Ravelo is live.

For a long time, screen time tools have been built around the same idea: set a limit, start a focus session, block an app — and then rely on yourself not to override it.

We wanted to try a different model.
What if screen time worked more like money?
That became Ravelo — the first bank for your time.

Instead of giving you unlimited access to distracting apps and asking you to stop yourself later, Ravelo starts from the opposite state: the apps you choose are blocked by default. Then you build a time balance.
Spend 20 minutes reading, learning a language, training, journaling, or using another productive app — you earn 20 minutes. Do 45 minutes of focused work away from your phone — you earn 45 minutes. When you want Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, games, or other entertainment, you spend from that balance.
And when the balance reaches zero, access closes again.

The important part for us isn't the blocking itself.
It's changing the behavior model. Most productivity tools frame entertainment as something you should resist. Ravelo gives it a price instead. Productive time becomes a deposit. Entertainment becomes a withdrawal. Your attention becomes something you actually account for.

We think this creates a much more interesting relationship with screen time than another daily limit or another “stay focused” timer. (Hi Opal and Forest).
Ravelo was designed especially with ADHD and impulsive phone use in mind, but the idea is broader: remove the decision at the moment of impulse, and move it to a system you defined beforehand.

After almost 7 months of building, testing, redesigning, and questioning whether this idea made sense at all, Ravelo is now out in the world.
Would genuinely love to hear what you think about the model — especially the idea of treating time as currency.
