Today, I stand before you with a heart full of gratitude and excitement as I share the journey behind a creation that has been born out of a single moment – a moment that forever changed my perspective on the world around us. 🌴 My story 🌴 I really love traveling, and one day I found myself in Sri Lanka. It's such a beautiful country with lots of greenery, the sea, and beaches. Of course, I spent a lot of time in the water. One day, while I was swimming pretty far from the shore, I noticed the sky starting to get covered with clouds. All the local people quickly got out of the water because they knew rain was coming. But back where I come from, swimming in warm rain is actually really fun! So, I kept swimming. About 10 minutes later, it started raining. At first, I didn't even understand why I felt a little scared. The waves weren't big, and everything seemed okay. But after a while, I realized it was getting hard to breathe. The rain was coming down really heavy, so I had to use my hand to cover my mouth. With just one hand, I managed to swim back to the shore. It made me realize that if I wasn't a good swimmer, I could have been in danger of drowning. The rain didn't last too long, but it made me think. Rain isn't just something that messes up plans outside – it can also be dangerous. At that moment, I looked for a way to know when it would rain, but I couldn't find a good way to get that information. That's when my friend Yuriy Melnichek and I decided to do something about it. 💡 The solution 💡 Weather is a highly chaotic process, meaning that predicting it requires an enormous amount of data, fast processing of this data, and a strong prediction algorithm. Global warming is making the weather increasingly unpredictable, which raises the need for swift processing of changing weather conditions. My business partner Yury Melnichek and I believe that the current development of AI and the quantity of weather-related data around us are currently sufficient for a significant leap forward in weather prediction. Data from over 1000 weather radars, more than 300,000 weather stations, satellite data, user feedback, and data from barometers in their mobile devices, along with state-of-the-art AI algorithms, allow us not only to make accurate short-term predictions but also to preserve unique factual weather data at every point on Earth. This can undoubtedly be used for modeling more long-term weather forecasts in the future. 🪄 The result 🎩  Today, I am thrilled to introduce to you this creation – a mobile app that not only predicts weather patterns but does so with a precision that has never been seen before.
