Radiuz

GPS-first event discovery app for Android

Radiuz is a GPS-first event discovery app. Open it and see a real-time feed of events within 50km of you — sorted by distance, not algorithm. TikTok-style vertical cards. Mosque programs, nightlife, gym promos, food deals, hotel events — one feed, auto-expiring when events end. Share any event to WhatsApp and it renders as a full flyer preview automatically. Hosts get live comments, RSVPs and GPS-radius reach for free. Live in Abuja, Nigeria. 20+ events, 50+ downloads, zero ad spend in week one.

Top comment

I built Radiuz solo with no technical background and no funding in under 2 months. The problem was simple: Abuja is full of events — mosque programs, DJ nights, gym promos, hotel shows — and nobody could find them. I walked into venues personally, built their flyers for free, and posted their first events myself. 20+ events and 50+ downloads in week one, zero ad spend. Would love feedback from the PH community.

Who hunted Radiuz?

Radiuz was hunted by Abdul Yusuf. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
