Top comment

Most internet radio apps look like they're from 2005. The community stations I love, NTS, Radio 80000, Kiosk Radio etc., were rarely listed anywhere, and keeping multiple tabs open just to switch between them was frustrating. So I built RadioDock: first as a Chrome extension to manage my favorites, then as a full PWA so it works on every device. Just add it to your home screen in two taps, and it behaves like a native app incl. Background playback and lock-screen controls. It's completely free and open source. No ads, no tracking, no account. Your favorites are stored locally on your device. I'd love to hear what stations you'd want to see.

Who hunted RadioDock?

RadioDock was hunted by bitmancer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
