Rack
The strength training app Garmin should've shipped
I've been working out throughout most of my life, yet it always felt like something was missing, which lead me on a mission to build THE Garmin Strength training app. It analyzes your training data & tells you what to do next. Real-time watch sync, recovery data & insights, and AI coaching, all formulated for you to JUST show up & take your valuable time back.
I built Rack because my Garmin watch is a $900 watch that felt kinda useless during my gym sessions. Garmin's strength mode is a timer. So I built a native Connect IQ companion app that syncs over Bluetooth in real-time.
The feature I'm most proud of is Hot-Swap - when your squat rack is taken, you can seamlessly swap exercises on your watch without stopping the activity. I also added a data-grounded coaching layer: the app reads your actual ACWR, muscle recovery, and session history to surface adjustment proposals when thresholds are exceeded. You approve or reject - no auto-pilot.
AMA.

Who hunted Rack?
Rack was hunted by Noah. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
