QuietPages
A cozy, zero-clutter reading tracker without the bloat.
Most reading apps have become cluttered social networks filled with ads, algorithmic pressure, and endless features you don't need. I built QuietPages because I just wanted a peaceful, intentional place to log books. It’s a minimalist web app designed to let your reading breathe. Key features: Clean, distraction-free visual shelves Simple progress tracking (TBR, Read, Reading, DNF) Zero clutter, zero ads, and total focus on your books.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m the solo developer behind QuietPages.
The inspiration for this project came from a simple personal frustration: I love reading, but every time I opened standard tracking platforms to log a book, I felt overwhelmed by ads, social bloat, and endless metrics. I wanted a quiet digital reading corner, not another busy social media feed.
So, I decided to build my own. I wanted to create a highly aesthetic, genuinely minimalist web app that gives you a beautiful visual sense of your reading without any of the background noise.
It's built entirely on a clean Python backend, and I've focused heavily on keeping the user experience as fluid and zen as possible.
It's completely free to try out, and I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts. What features do you feel are missing from modern reading trackers, and what makes a digital space feel truly "cozy" to you?
Thank you so much for checking it out! 🌿 Read on.
