QFTM-1024 Project by Daniil Myagkov
Scientific Big Five typing with 1024 profiles
1024 unique profiles from validated Big Five zones. Track personality dynamics monthly. Calculate relationship compatibility using 5 research-backed psychological models (Karney-Bradbury, Gottman, Scarr-McCartney). Zero data collection, fully client-side.
Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Daniil, solo maker of QFTM-1024.
The problem that annoyed me: MBTI gives you 4 letters and calls it a personality, but two people with the same type feel nothing alike — and Enneagram doesn't fix that, it just stacks another label on top. Meanwhile Big Five is scientifically solid but reads like a spreadsheet nobody wants to open. So I tried to build the bridge: real IPIP-NEO facets underneath, a memorable identity on top.
What it actually is:
• 1,024 profiles grouped into the familiar 16 families, so the jump from MBTI feels safe, not alien.
• Runs entirely in your browser. No frameworks, no backend. Download the single file and it still works offline.
• Absolute Privacy: Zero data collection — everything lives in your browser's localStorage. I refuse to sell what I can't protect.
• Procedural cat companions where every pixel is data: coat hue from your facet mix, face shape from Neuroticism. Not decoration — visualization.
• A monthly calendar so you can watch your profile drift instead of trusting one snapshot (because one test is noise; three months is signal).
Compatibility rolls five published models (Karney-Bradbury, Gottman, Scarr-McCartney, Youyou, Tiedens) into explicit formulas you can read in the source. Labeled heuristic, never a diagnosis.

Curious to hear from the Quantified Self and Psychology folks here: how do you track personality drift over time? And for anyone burned by the "two same-types, totally different humans" MBTI problem — does seeing 1,024 granular profiles feel like a relief?
