Qelvora corrects, rewrites, and translates text across macOS with local Ollama models. Select editable text or draw a rectangle around visible words—even in Discord—without sending drafts to a cloud editor.
I built Qelvora around a simple idea: polishing a sentence shouldn’t require pasting a private draft into a cloud editor.
Qelvora is a free, native macOS app that corrects, rewrites, and translates text with Ollama models running locally on your Mac. In most apps, you select the text and use the shortcut. When normal selection is awkward, Discord is a good example, you can draw a rectangle around the visible words, and Qelvora reads the area locally before returning a cleaner version.
It’s open source and available now for macOS 14+.
I’d love to know where the experience can be clearer or faster for you: the first Ollama setup, choosing a model, granting macOS permissions, or using rectangle capture in everyday apps.
