Q UB
A minimalist browser reflex game that gets brutal fast
Simple aesthetic universe combined with a simple gameplay designed to get brutal fast. Difficult to get past level 30.
I built QUB over a few weekends because I wanted a browser game that felt genuinely difficult without being unfair. Something you could pick up quickly and access from anywhere.
The design direction voluntarily clean and minimalistic. The sci-fi narrative layer emerged later, I was seeking an eery feeling.
The premise is that if you get past level 30 you probably have cat-like reflexes.
Would love to hear your brutally honest feedback and how far you got. My next venture is to add sound-design to it for greater immersiveness.
