I built Puzzle Theory because I kept bouncing off Wordle-alternative sites that were either lazy reskins or buried a decent puzzle under ads and signup walls. Wanted to build the version I'd actually want to open every morning.
A few things I'm proud of if you want to dig in:
- Queens and Tango generate a brand new board every day and run a uniqueness solver before it ever reaches a player — nothing is pre-baked.
- Lexicon drops Wordle's color clues for numeric-only feedback, which is a genuinely different (harder) puzzle, not just a reskin.
- Everything's free with no account needed — Pro is there for people who want an archive and cross-device sync, not a paywall on the core game.
