PushWard
Turn any HTTP request into an iOS Live Activity
PushWard turns any HTTP request into an iOS Live Activity — live data on your Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and Home Screen widgets. For homelab alerts, CI/CD, 3D prints, and Home Assistant. Open-source integration bridges, hosted APNs. Sign in with Apple, no tracking.
Hi everyone, I'm Maciek, the maker of PushWard.
I run a homelab — Grafana, a Bambu Lab printer, Sonarr, ArgoCD, some CI — and all of
it wanted to notify me, but the options were bad. Discord webhooks felt wrong for
"your print finished." I missed a Grafana alert once because it
was buried in Notification Center, and that's when I wanted a number on my Lock Screen
I could watch change without unlocking the phone.
PushWard does that. You POST to an API and a Live Activity starts on your iPhone; POST
again and it updates in place, live, in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen. A
countdown counts down, a progress bar fills, a Grafana alert carries 30 minutes of
metric history as a sparkline. There are push-driven Home Screen widgets too, and
notifications that can carry an image, video, or audio.
The integration bridges (Grafana, Sonarr, ArgoCD, Bambu Lab, Proxmox, GitHub Actions
and more) are open-source MIT Docker containers you run yourself, and Home Assistant
gets its own HACS integration. The iOS app and the hosted API are mine — APNs needs a
provisioned Apple developer account, so that part isn't self-hostable.
Privacy: Sign in with Apple, no email, no analytics, nothing tracked.
It's on the App Store now: free tier, 14-day trial, then $23.99/yr (about $2/mo). The
first 500 people can grab a $59 lifetime instead.
If there's a service you'd want it to talk to, tell me — that's how the integration
list keeps growing.

Who hunted PushWard?
PushWard was hunted by maclucky. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
