PureMIDI
Turn audio and sheet music into editable MIDI drafts
PureMIDI turns audio and sheet music into editable MIDI drafts for your DAW or notation app. Use Quick Melody for clean solos and isolated stems, or Pro Song for multi-track drafts from full mixes. It also supports MP3, WAV, video, PDF/image scores, MusicXML/MXL, and rights-cleared YouTube workflows. Dense arrangements still need review, so results are positioned as an editable starting point—not finished notation.

Hey Product Hunt — I built PureMIDI because existing “audio to MIDI” tools often hide an important distinction: a clean solo line and a full mix are not the same transcription problem. PureMIDI uses two workflows: Quick Melody for clean sources and isolated stems, and Pro Song for editable multi-track drafts from full mixes. It also handles score inputs and exports standard MIDI so you can keep working in your DAW or notation software. I’m deliberately calling the output a draft. Dense arrangements, percussion, and overlapping instruments still need human cleanup. The goal is to reduce blank-page work, not pretend AI creates perfect notation. I’d love feedback on accuracy, instrument separation, and especially how much cleanup time it saves. If you test it, tell me what source you used and where the MIDI got it wrong.
