Hi Product Hunt, I’m Rohan, the maker of Pulse Notch.
I built it because I wanted to see my live WHOOP heart rate during focused work without opening my phone or keeping another dashboard on screen.
Pulse Notch reads WHOOP 5.0 Heart Rate Broadcast directly over Bluetooth and places live BPM around the MacBook camera cutout. Clicking it opens a one-hour local timeline, sustained-threshold cues, snooze, and a guided 60-second reset.
There is no account, analytics, application server, or cloud heart-rate storage.
One transparent caveat: the current build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized, so macOS requires a one-time Open Anyway approval.
I would especially value feedback on setup, WHOOP discovery and reconnection, and whether the compact display feels useful during a real workday.
