I'm the solo dev behind Pulse - and honestly, I built it for myself first.
Every morning I'd open ~20 tabs - news, crypto, market data, Twitter - just to figure out what actually happened and what's moving. Exhausting, and half of it was noise I couldn't even trust. I wanted one calm, trustworthy briefing in my own language that I could just listen to with coffee. Nothing did exactly that, so I made it.
What Pulse does:

6 languages, each with real audio narration - listen on your commute
Every story grounded in real sources (no hallucinated headlines)

The part I'm quietly proud of: the "simple" app sits on a pretty serious backend - a multi-stage, self-healing AI pipeline that verifies every briefing, cross-checks sources, regenerates on failure, and even watches its own costs. Looks effortless, fights hard underneath.
