I've been writing serialized fiction for years, mostly stories i wanted to read myself. My setup was Google Docs for drafting and Obsidian for planning, and switching between them killed every flow state i ever got into.
PullAtlas started as a project that I'd work on between writing sessions.
The philosophy is calm. That meant not just putting worldbuilding, arc and beat planning in one app, but connecting them so they never interrupt the writing. Worldbuilding happens from inside the text editor. Quick notes work from anywhere in the app. A moment of inspiration shouldn't leave you scrambling for another tab or a notepad.
Built solo, live now. AI is optional, off by default and bring-your-own-key, the workspace works fully without it, and nothing you write trains anything.
I'd really like honest feedback, especially from anyone who's duct taped together a similar Docs + Obsidian setup. What breaks your flow?
