Hi ProductHunt! I'm a political scientist at Harvard and a longtime reader of scify and fantasy books who got pulled into romantasy through BookTok, became one of the ~20% of male readers in the genre, and got frustrated with how hard it was to find well-written books. Trope lists tell you what's in a book — not whether the prose holds up or the dialogue rings true. So I built this just for fun to solve my own problem. It uses real reader reviews from Hardcover's open API to score books on six quality dimensions. It's early, the catalog is 500 titles and growing, and I'd genuinely love your feedback on whether the concept is useful. Happy to answer any questions!
