Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Isaac, the solo founder behind ProposalAI. I wanted to share the story behind why I built this.
I've been freelancing on Upwork for a while and kept running into the same frustrating cycle — spend 20+ minutes crafting a thoughtful proposal, only to find out the client had no payment history, a vague brief, and a budget that wouldn't cover an hour of work.
I built ProposalAI to solve that problem for myself first. What started as a personal tool turned into something I thought other freelancers would genuinely find useful.
The red flag detection is the feature I'm most proud of — it analyses the job posting and warns you about things like vague scope, unrealistic budgets, and missing client details before you waste your time applying.
