PromptQuery
Analyze databases, generate SQL, and create reports with AI
PromptQuery lets Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, and other AI agents safely query databases and do everything from data analysis to report generation to browsing schemas and managing workflows with read-only defaults and human approval for risky changes. PromptQuery is an MCP-native client for AI-powered data analysis and database management.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built PromptQuery to make database analysis easier for people who need answers from data but do not want to spend all day
writing SQL or moving results between spreadsheets, docs, and dashboards.
PromptQuery connects to databases, helps generate SQL, explores tables, audits data, and turns results into shareable
reports. It started as a natural-language-to-SQL tool, then evolved into a workspace for database connections, query
management, AI analysis, report generation, and team workflows.
I’d love your feedback on the product, the positioning, and which data-analysis workflows we should support next.
