Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Kunal, maker of PromptForce. I kept running into Claude Code's limits on long sessions: the same context re-sent every turn, huge logs eating the window, and simple questions going to the most expensive model. The open-source community had already solved most of this, but in pieces: one project for routing, another for compression, another for tool output, another for free tiers. Each had its own setup, and none of them knew about the others. So I built PromptForce to bring those ideas together in one app that runs on your machine with built in privacy: 🍋 Squeeze: prompt cache kept warm, noisy tool output trimmed (originals kept, recoverable), and routine turns routed to cheaper models. 🆓 Top up: free models from providers' free tiers, each labelled by what that provider says it does with your data. You choose per project how far your code may go, and PromptForce never sends it further. 📊 Honest numbers: savings split from what prompt caching already gives you. Only what PromptForce adds counts toward the free $500. 👥 Teams: one machine becomes the hub, teammates join with a link, and everyone keeps their own sign-in. It works on the Claude Code and Codex plans you already pay for and use, with no new keys. Prompts and history stay on your machine. Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows. It's beta. I'd love to hear which numbers you want to see, and which open-source tools we should bring in next. Built independently; not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI or the projects whose ideas inspired it.
