Projecord
Keep project decisions consistent across AI tools
Projecord is an open-source, self-hosted MCP server that turns conclusions from AI conversations into a living project document. It tracks current truth, decisions, rejected alternatives, and open questions, while every change remains under human approval. Unlike typical AI memory tools, this project is designed primarily to serve people. After relying on AI to move a project forward over multiple rounds, people often forget key decisions and gradually lose control of the project.
Hi Product Hunt,
I built Projecord after repeatedly losing track of important decisions while using AI to move projects forward.
The problem was not that the AI lacked memory. The real problem was that I, as the person responsible for the project, was gradually losing control. Decisions, rejected ideas, unresolved questions, and changes in direction were scattered across different conversations. After enough rounds of discussion, it became difficult to remember what had been decided, why it had been decided, and what was still open.
That is why Projecord is different from a typical AI memory tool. It is designed primarily to serve the human, not just the AI.
Projecord turns conclusions from AI conversations into a structured, living project document. It keeps the current project state, decisions and their rationale, rejected alternatives, unresolved questions, and change history in one place. AI tools can read the same project context and propose updates, but important changes remain visible and under human approval.
My original idea was simply to preserve context across AI tools. During development, I realized that context continuity alone was not enough. The more important goal was to help people stay informed, remember the reasoning behind the project, and remain in control as AI takes on more of the work.
Projecord is open source and currently in beta. I would especially appreciate feedback on whether you have experienced this problem and whether the human-approval workflow feels useful.

Who hunted Projecord?
Projecord was hunted by Liulijian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
