profile.rocks was created when I wanted to build a small web page directly from my phone, without needing a computer. Existing micropage services typically only support links and plain text, but I wanted something that could handle Markdown as well. Most of these platforms are also closed source, while profile.rocks aims to be open source, with plans to expand developer tools in the future to support self-hosting and greater independence.
