Prodigent

A living system for product thinking and decisions

Prodigent records product thinking as it happens - ideas, user feedback, decisions and more, so teams no longer lose context across Docs, Slack, and meetings. The result is a continuously updated, queryable history of product intent per feature. Replace static PRDs with a platform.

Top comment

As an Engineering leader, I've always found that working with static PRDs is a one way street. You get a PRD from a PM, you try to build what has been specified, but the feedback loop between Engineering and Product doesn't exist or doesn't work. You discover things as you go. You also don't have a good place to collect user feedback or suggestions and ideas from the team - at least without it getting lost in some random Slack thread or meeting notes

Who hunted Prodigent?

Prodigent was hunted by Tim Eisenhuth. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
