Hey Product Hunt! I'm Sami, a CS student who also runs a 3D printing business.
Every maker who paints models in OrcaSlicer or Bambu Studio knows the pain: the colors are trapped in the slicer. The paint data is stored in an undocumented format inside the 3MF, so the moment you want a web preview, a product render, or an AR view, you're stuck redoing everything in Blender.
I reverse engineered that format and built PrintProof so nobody has to do that again.
What it does: Converts painted 3MF to GLB with exact color boundaries (real geometric subdivision, not approximation) Exports OBJ with per vertex colors and USDZ for AR AR preview in the browser through Quick Look and WebXR Blends mixed filament colors with a real pigment model Round trips back to a retinted 3MF Ships with a headless Node CLI for automation
