Hi Product Hunt! I built PriceProof after seeing how many WooCommerce shops in the EU show 'was €100, now €80' without the legally required 'lowest price in the last 30 days' line, or show a wrong one because nothing recorded their prices. PriceProof records every price change (editor, bulk edit, REST, CSV import, scheduled sales), calculates the reference per product and variation exactly as the Omnibus directive describes (the 30 days before the reduction, progressive discounts kept), and shows nothing at all when it cannot prove a number. Right after installing you can import the prices from your past orders, so the window is covered immediately. The free plugin does all of that. Pro adds a campaign planner (which reference may you show on Black Friday, is it a real reduction, will Google Shopping show the Sale label), a guard that turns fake discounts into plain prices, and an audit export with a SHA-256 hash chain. It is brand new; I would love to hear how you handle price-reduction rules in your shop.
