Presque
A social memory map for iOS
Pin a photo, voice note or line of text to the exact coordinates and minute it happened. The radar looks for memories inside your radius and window — 50 m, ±30 min by default. No background location. An overlap stays sealed until both people accept.

presque — French for almost. You have stood beside strangers at ten thousand ordinary minutes. Row H at the Barbican. A queue at the wrong hour. Presque keeps the record: you drop a memory where it happened, and the radar returns the people whose memories fall inside both your radius and your window, with the distance and the delay written out plainly — 11 m, 9 min. Three limits are the whole product: 1. No background location. The app cannot see where you are when it is closed. It knows a place because you posted a memory there, or because a photograph you imported carried EXIF coordinates. 2. Everything arrives sealed. Memories sit private in the Vault by default, and an overlap is a card with no name and no face until both people accept. 3. You set the margin of error. Scrub a memory to widen or narrow the window you are findable in — an hour, a set, a single song. If somebody was eleven metres and nine minutes away but outside your radius, it lands in a near-miss inbox rather than a push notification. iOS first, through TestFlight, one city at a time. Free tier is three radar scans a month; Pro is $4.99. Built by Presque Labs Inc. in Montréal. If you see a hole in the consent model, I would genuinely rather hear it here than after launch. Who hunted Presque?
Presque was hunted by Othmane El Mariky. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
