Hey Product Hunt! I built Present because I got tired of picking up my phone to check the time and putting it down 15 minutes later having checked nothing. The moment that actually did it: I was in the garage, hands covered in grease, trying to figure out if I had time to finish before I had to leave for my kid's game. Phone across the bench. Couldn't touch it. And even if I could, the thing I needed — the time, and one calendar event — was buried three taps deep behind a feed that wanted something from me. So Present does four things and stops: • The time • The date • The weather • What's next on your calendar That's it. No feed, no notifications, no streaks, no reason to stay, no logins. It's designed to be propped up across the kitchen while you cook, on the bench while you work, on the nightstand overnight — and to be read in about half a second from five feet away. Every other app is optimizing for time-in-app. I'm optimizing for time-out-of-app. Weird business model, great product goal. Would genuinely love to hear where you'd put it, and what's missing for your setup. I've been deliberately ruthless about what doesn't go in, but I'll happily be talked into something.
