I didn’t start building PraiseMates because I thought the world needed another church presentation software. I started building it because, after spending years around church media, I understood how frustrating the existing workflow could become. I’ve been involved in church media for over a decade, and over the years, I’ve seen how much happens behind the scenes to make a Sunday service feel seamless. Lyrics need to be prepared, Bible verses need to be ready, slides need to be organized, and everything has to work when the service begins. The congregation sees what appears on the screen, but the person behind the computer knows how much work goes into making that happen. What should have been a straightforward process could turn into a series of unnecessary steps. Getting everything ready, managing content, and switching between different elements of a service could feel more complicated than they needed to be. For volunteer media teams, especially those without dedicated technical staff, that extra complexity matters. They already have enough to think about. PraiseMates is built for churches and media teams that want to spend less time figuring out their presentation software and more time preparing for the service ahead. It is particularly close to my heart because I know the problem from both sides: as someone who has worked in church media and as the developer responsible for building the solution.
