POTUS
Play the US President during this week's real news
Play the sitting President during this week's actual news. The real 100 senators vote on your decisions with their real voting records, the press reacts across the spectrum, and your America forks from reality week by week. Type any policy at all and 14 voter personas erupt in character while your VP keeps score across the whole term — and remembers everything you did. The weekly brief is triangulated across left/right/wire sources so it reads fair. Free, no signup, plays on your phone.

I kept reading the news every morning thinking "what would I even do if that landed on my desk?" — so I built a game where you find out. POTUS drops you into the sitting President's chair during the actual current week. Right now it's the framework deal to end the U.S.–Iran war: a Friday signing in Geneva, the Strait of Hormuz blockade just lifted, and a 60-day nuclear clock nobody has resolved. You decide how to play it, the real 100 senators vote with their real records, and from there the news bends around your alternate timeline. The hard part was keeping it honest. The weekly brief is triangulated across left/right/wire sources — a fact has to clear Fox AND CNN before it's stated as fact, and one-sided claims get labeled "contested." The Senate is the real 100 senators with their NOMINATE records; the model can only name marginal defectors, and code owns the vote math. It never puts invented quotes in real officials' mouths. The principle throughout: the LLM provides flavor, code owns the numbers. There's also a pure sandbox — type any policy ("give every child a pet bald eagle") and 14 voter personas react in character while your very judgmental VP keeps score across the term and remembers what you did. Mine got an F. Free, no signup, works on phones. Would love feedback on the divergence mechanic — and on whether the brief reads as fair to you.
