Hi Product Hunt, I'm Sydney, the solo founder behind PositionBird. Shoppers have started asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude what to buy. When they do, the AI names two or three stores and everyone else is invisible. Most Shopify merchants have no idea which side of that line they are on, or that an AI might be telling people their shop is closed, overpriced, or a scam. PositionBird asks the real engines real buying questions through their official APIs, several times per prompt so one odd answer does not move the score. You get: • One 0 to 100 AI Visibility Score across five engines • The competitor each engine recommends instead of you, prompt by prompt • Accuracy Alerts when an engine states something false about your store, with a hash-stamped record of the answer • Generated fixes: answer-first pages, FAQ copy and structured data that change the answer Two honest caveats. API answers are a proxy for the consumer apps, not a screenshot of them. And engines that answer from training data cannot be corrected directly, only their sources can.
