PopIn
Plan events your friends can RSVP to without an account
Create events, invite anyone by email or phone, and watch RSVPs roll in. PopIn is the social event platform where your guests don't need an account to attend.
I built it because planning anything with friends had become a mess. A group chat here, a spreadsheet there, a story for the people I forgot to text, and a separate message to my mum because she wasn't on the app I used. Half the invites landed and half vanished.
PopIn is my fix for that. You make an event in about a minute, send one link, and people RSVP in a tap. The part I care about most is that your guests never need an account or an app to reply. The friend who quit Facebook years ago and the relative who refuses to install anything can both still come.
It's a social network, but an events-first one. Your feed is your friends and the accounts you follow, and then it stops. No infinite scroll, no strangers.
It's free and early, and it really is just me. I'd love feedback, especially the harsh kind. What feels off? What's missing?

Who hunted PopIn?
PopIn was hunted by Angus. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
